Legolas Graphite Reference

So this is the reference comparison for my Legolas Graphite piece! All works in progress are in my Scrapbook here: [link]

It's on A4 paper (about 12x8.5") and took around 20ish hours (honestly don't know ) to do using Graphite 2H-8B with Mars Lumograph 8B background.

Trying to work on my contrast and tonal range as I've been a bit 'bland' recently.

This is probably my best piece so far, so really pleased with it!

List of faults I've spotted so far!

1) His jaw is too square, I should have been a bit softer on the curves.
2) His hair on the left as we look should come down straighter. and be slightly narrower.
3) The Hair on the right by the braid takes up too much room and should be more understated.
4) The hair over his left shoulder (right as we look) is too big and should be a bit more understated.
5) The angle of the jacket should be shallower as it comes down from his shoulder.
6) The hair on top of his head should fade into the background more near the ends.
7) His right ear in shadow should be less pronounced.
8) The creases and wrinkles should be a tiny bit less pronounced as it ages him (Thanks Meks! )
9) The hair next to his braid either side is a bit messy and should be tidied up (but I've spray fixed it now....)

Those are the things I've spotted so far, there are probably more, so lots to work on for next pictures
