So I finally finished this piece which I started about 6 months ago heh! I nearly didn't want to as I would do some bits totally differently now, which is why I never normally go back to old drawings.

It's a small picture about 4x5" so the pic you see is about actual size.

I do a lot of portraits with not much eye detail, so thought it would be useful to learn a bit more about the eye structure, which will help future work.

I got permission last year from Kanilorak to use her photo here as a reference, so big thanks to her!

Thanks I have some work in progress pictures in my scrapbook

I use a grid to get the proportions and then just build up layers of pencil
